Moving Down South

I've been working in Payson for a year now, and in three days we're moving down there. Mostly we're moving because at this new place we can have a dog, but there's also that it's a much nicer place, it's ridiculously closer to my work, it will save us a bunch of gas money because Adam's riding his motorcycle, and I'm very tired of the place we're in now. The new place even has a dishwasher, which I'm very excited about!

I actually already have a dog. A Cora/Uragan puppy came back about a month ago, and Steve's been keeping her at the kennel where I work until we get into our new place. She's a little over 6 months now. She's a red Doberman with a cropped tail and natural ears. Very outgoing, loves to play! Her name is Jade. I can't wait until I can take her home with me.

We've got 4 or 5 people helping us move on Sunday. I always feel weird having other people see all my stuff, even if most of it's in boxes. Then again, we're not terribly secretive people, so it's not such a big deal.

I dyed (temporarily) part of my hair purple this afternoon. I like it so much that I think I'm going to have it done permanently soon. I don't talk a lot to other people, mostly because I work with dogs all day and not people, and it seems to bring a little of my personality out into the open without me having to convey it with words.
