Onyx, our new little lovebird, has laid two eggs! She happened to lay them while she was in her fuzzy hut at the top of the cage, so they both fell and cracked open. I got her a little box and put some fake eggs in, so hopefully she won't lay any more. We don't want to breed them right now, and laying eggs is hard on a tiny bird's body. The eggs were much bigger than expected! They were a full 3/4 inches tall, with love birds being only about 4 inches tall.

Lauren! I love the pictures of your Florida time. Please send copies. I also love the shoes--a vast improvement from your old worn out green ones. I am also proud of your new grandbaby-eggs. Can't wait to see what Onyx does with the foster eggs you provided.
